Code Bleu

I saw Code Bleu last night at the bridal show in the Uniondale MArriot. They were so good. They played really good music and it sounded great too. For all of you that picked them...Good Choice.

Code Bleu

I am glad you liked them. We booked them ages ago and the wedding isn't until Nov. I am so glad we don't have to worry about the music.

Code Bleu - One Reservation (long)

We saw them at a showcase a few months ago. While I thought they were good I had one reservation. After the showcase, Donna (the female singer) and I were chatting. We happened to be sitting at a table with another bride that had the same wedding day. Our receptions were back to back at opposite ends of New York. She told us that she would have no problem doing both. She said that in the last hour of the of the first reception, she would send the piano player along with a 2nd set of equipment to the other party for cocktail hour. Even though my wedding was the last one of the day, I didnt like the idea that they would send a key band member to the next party during the last hour of the first party. Doesn't that seem wrong to you? Is this industry practice? It seems that if i pay for 7 pieces, those 7 people should be there for the entire time.

Code Bleu - One Reservation (long)

I totaly agree with you. You should all 7 present throughout the entire affair. Now if they were going to use another piano player for the second affair that would be another story.

Code Bleu - Sonicstef

If I were you I would call Sean - the bandleaader for code bleu. He would definitely get another piano player to do the second wedding. I used them at my wedding and the guests thought that they were actually lip sinking they were so good... Good luck but I would definitely use them.

Sonicstef-good idea.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will call Sean just to make sure we have all the members for our entire wedding.

Cost and contact info of Code Bleu

The name of the group is Skyline Orchestras and they have a web site. I''m going with Code Bleu, also. I really like them and have heard a lot of other bands who don''t seem to compare. I''m really into music and tend to be extremely picky. They are a little pricey but not much more than other bands.
