I have found that if I get hungry or have a sweet craving that coffee can satisfy me...(1-2 teas of sugar and a splash of skim milk)
is that OK?
(at least better than a donut)

that is totally fine.... If you can substitute the sugar with either splenda (not my fav) or equal (which i really like) that would be even better!

DEF substitute the sugar.. it's 200 calories PER teaspoon of sugar!!!
I use Splenda.. I buy the big box of 700 packets at Costco and carry it in my bag in a ziplock..
but all in all, it's MUCH better than a donut

I was using splenda all summer...but I got hooked on Mexican sugar (unbleached - not quite raw...but close) and didn't think the few were so bad!! but OMG...back to splenda!!!

Re: coffee?
Splenda doesn't have the chemicals of Equal and is supposed to be better.

Re: coffee?
You only NEED sweets, because you eat sweets! Your body needs the boost because your insulin levels spiked from the sugar then dropped because your body released higher amounts of insulin to transport it to be used by your body for energy! If you are sedentary while this is going on, your body is storing this sugar in your body as fat.
Read the book Sugar-Busters!
