coffee table books by VIP, Patken or Mark Kauffman brides help!

My fiance and i just looked at books by steve at patken and my FI wants to book them right away! i want to look at VIP and Kauffman's work and prices first... we are looking foor the coffee table books and these are the three i wanted to view. I need recommendations or opinions on these 3 as far as their attitude, work and pricing goes. HElp! the lady at patken offered an incentive to sign by sunday so my fi wants to jump. should i just sign?

I am using VIP studios and I am also getting the coffee table style album. I really like John from VIP. I found him to down-to-earth and not pushy. I thought his prices were reasonable. He is definitely worth checking out.

I would look at the others before booking. I jumped at Patken's incentive, and I wish I would have waited to do some more comparision shopping.

I agree with Lisa's suggestion. I would look more at photography styles than only at the albums offered. Some of the more traditional library style albums can look awesome too. Remember its not the album but what's in it.

minniebride, i dont know if the link is working but the site is www.graphistudio.com. they are albums printed with digital images directly on the pages. you can overlay several images, quotes, lyrics, vows just about anything along with the pics.

Honestly -this is NOT directed at ANY photographer just a generalization- I think it is more important that you consider the quality of what you are getting, and what they are giving you - than which book they offer. What if you get your pictures back and they don't lend themselves to doing that style book, or what if you simply change your mind.
The quality and what you get is actually more important b/c if you don't have good photos then you won't have a good album.

you're right, thats why i want to check out these studios since they have had a good reputation and been recommended by a few people. they have the style and quality we're looking for plus the books as a bonus!
