College Grad Gift for my brother... what do you think?

My brother is graduating college In a few weeks he'll offically be a Nutrionist I'm really proud of him, . I want to get him something special. What do you think of this. My brother has our Family Crest tattoed on his calf (my brother has a few). I'm thinking about having a jeweler make our crest as charm, but bigger so the symbols could be seen for him, (and maybe one for me.) What do you think? Good idea. or get somthing geared towards his carrear? Maybe a nice watch?

Any thoughts would be appreciated we're in crunch mode... it's the 20th

That sounds really cute, but, does he wear jewelry? Or would it be something he wouldn't wear, but just keep?

In terms of watches, you can get a GREAT deal on Movado out at the Movado outlet in the Tanger outlets in Riverhead.

Id say the watch, costco has great deals on tags and movado's as well...

The jewelry idea is very nice. Is your brother into dog tags? You can get the symbols on a gold dog tag. FH & I just got one done for his godson's birthday. We put his footbal # & a helmet on the dog tag and added diamonds to the #.

When my brother got his BS my parents bought him a chain w/ a blinged out cross, it was what he wanted. Since I'm not gonna spend like my parents & get it w/ diamonds.,I thought it might be nice to get the detail of the crest. Is it weird? I've never been in to our Crest until now. Maybe it's b/c my name is going to change in a lil bit. My Grandpa has it in the grill of his car, my dad & uncles are into it too, but my Dad doesn't have it on his SUV, IDK, maybe a good deal on a Movado in Tanger, hmmn maybe Sunday I'll take the trip

Is he graduating and getting a real job? I don't know if this will work but FH and I were at tanger this past weekend in the coach outlet and they had awesome looking leather briefcases. I don't know what field he's going into so I don't know if that would work but I thought I'd throw it out there.

I'd say you can go either way. I think both ideas are great, but, also, keep in mind that if he already has a cross, he might not wear one of the two all the time. Is he really dedicated to wearing the cross? Does he wear it everyday?

Just some questions I would ask myself.

Really do you have a pic?

I don't have a pic of the one we got him....but my FH has a dog tag that he had custom made.....let me see if I can find the picture for you.
