Re: Colonics

I never did, but you will be cleaning out the good bacteria, which is not good for your body.

Re: Colonics

I havent gone yet but i plan to by the end of the summer. My girlfriend and I have done some research on this and have spoken to numerous people who have had it done. Its beneficial in that it cleans out crap from years and years and years ago and a huuuuge plus is that you instanly loose some weight.....not 20 lbs but you loose some

I hear mixed things about it. I hear a lot of negative things.

Re: Colonics

10'er crashinggggg.. So Ive been to cleansing concepts- Vanessa runs it she is awesome a really cool chic , she makes it so not as awkward as you would think something like this would be. I have a long history of stomach issues- had my gallbladder removed last june and still had some problems. Went to her with someone who was going for wedding prep and although I didnt loose weight I wasnt really going for that - I felt really good afterwards. That was in Dec, I plan on going back prob in Sept for a ahem...Checkup..lol
just my @@ cents...

Re: Colonics

I used to go regularly about 4-5 yrs ago but them stopped bc it does get expensive. I really liked it bc you feel 'clean' afterwards! And it debloats you and I even noticed a better. complexion - skin glowing etc...
There are two schools of thought on this...some drs think they're good and others don't.

Re: Colonics

is it uncomfortable when you are getting it done? I jsut keep thinking that you fel like someone is sucking out your insides with a vaccuum (i know none of your actual insides come out lol - just the bad stuff) I jstu dont see how it woudl be comfy to get it done. I am curious about them though!

Re: Colonics

there are different ypes of machines., Cleansing concepts a LIW vendor (she does wedding packages think 3 visits + ionic foot baths + sauna for like $300ish i think) has the pics of her machines on her website you can google them or go to you tube and see what the machine does. I liked there becaue it didnt require someone sitting there next to me for 45min- that would of been weird for me. I did have uncomfortable cramping for about the 1st 10 min but its tolerable.,

Re: Colonics

Where I used to go, the woman Sandy used to stay with me. She would put heating pads on my belly to reduce cramping and was able to see if, sorry TMI if I had gas in there and would massage the stomache to reduce it. It's Crazy. She'd have soft music like Enya playing to totally relay you. If I remember correctly it was about 100 bucks each time. but you have to follow the plan in order for it to be effective. The place was called Optimal Wellness but has since moved it's location - not sure where they are now.
