Color coordinating invites and BM dresses

I am anal about keeping to a color scheme. Mine is Clover Green for the BM dresses, pink for the juniors and Ivory/Champagne for the FG and my dress. I really wanted my wedding invitation to reflect those colors but the one I love only comes in Mocha brown ribbon as a color or white. Does it matter that my invites are Mocha Brown when there's no brown in my wedding colors?

BTW, I wanted to frame my invitation with my colors.

I've kept several momentos from our wedding, including the double-framed photos & invite (I got one I love from BB&B since no one purchased it for me from our registry) and you can't tell our colors at all from any of these items. The invite looks pretty in the frame, as does the photo I chose, although there is no mint or lavender in there. Our invite was classic black & white with a shiny ivory border. If you love the mocha invites, it sounds like you should go for it! They sound beautiful!

You'll have a whole album of photos where your colors will be reflected. You won't forget your colors and the mood of your wedding just because your invite is in different colors.

My step-mom loves maroon but she and my father had a black and white invite, so she just framed the invite (which was b&w) in a gorgeous frame in her color and it still hangs in their bedroom 17 years later. You have many options!

It really doesn't matter and mostly people won't notice if you match or not. But there are always those one or two guests who will notice the matching and will comment and then it makes your day. I matched my invites to my wedding theme (pink, gold, cream and green) and only 1 or 2 people said anything. But when they did it made me so happy.
