We are getting married September 12th 2009...It is considered a summer wedding due to its the last weekend of Summer. Is a light Purple or a viliot a good color.

I am getting married the very last week in August and I am doing fall colors. You can do whatever colors you want.

i dont think colors apply anymore......all colors work at all times of the year......b/c you can always use flowers as accents to bring other colors in if you think its to springy.....like purples look really nice with navys or browns =)

Brown and purple look great together! You could always do a brown dress with a violet sash with purple flowers. I am getting married the day before 4th of July and I am using purple/lavendar/whatever other names people use for purple. GL

I think a tangerine/burnt orange color would be perfect! It's summery but it is appropriate for fall weather too...

I'm getting married the same day, September 12, 2009 and my colors are Black and White. You can use any colors you want.
I am still up in the air if I want to add pink as an accent color or if I want to keep it just black and white. At first I could not decide but in the end I picked the colors I though would best set the tone for my wedding and it's very formal so I went with black and white. Plus I work for The Knot, I saw that pink and brown is out for 2008/9 and those were my original colors

I got married in September & used light purple for my bridesmaids and the flowers were a mix of purples, blues, pinks, whites...they were absolutely great for that time of year.
