My Hubby and I are just about to pick out our livingroom furniture. We have been looking, but not definately sure about the color. We both like leather and microfiber, and were thinking about getting a medium-dark beige color. The only problem is that we think our livingroom will look BLAH! Nothing to it, NO COLOR! Our walls are painted a light beigy-pale yellow color with white trim. We just had carpet put down which is also in the beige family. We really don't want to do Black furniture. Any suggestions as to what colors we can bring in the room, or if we do go with the medium- Dark colored beige couch what can we do to add more color so it's not soo BLAH. We're like beige obsessed or something!

Re: Color Help!!
You could always paint the walls or add color through artwork, curtains, throw pillows, etc.

Re: Color Help!!
like Christine said, splashes of color can make a world of a difference. Hang pictures, put up curtains, add throw pillows, put candles around the room, little accents - you'll see a difference in no time

Re: Color Help!!
I agree you can always add color with curtains, pillows, art, and other accessories. DH was just reading an article and it said pick something with color (like art or a floral arrangement) and let that be the focal point to work color into the room. You could also try just doing one wall a more dramatic color.

Re: Color Help!!
Thanks for your help. I guess throw pillows, pics. and other stuff can add some color into the room. We just painted the walls, so painting again is definately out of the question. I do like the look of the Faux paint!
