Ladies - I was talking to my cousin (on of my BM) earlier today and I was bouncing my color ideas off of her -- when I said I was thinking about doing the colors of sunset she nearly freaked 'Oh my goodness that would be beautiful esp with the VYC' My exact thoughts!
My question to you ladies - how can I pull this off? What colors should my BM dresses be? Flowers etc.

You could go super bright on the colors too.... all the different colors the sky and the sun goes through during a sunset OR you could do whites or off whites to really let the dresses pop. I think that color would look gorgeous at VYC - I've only seen it in pictures but their sunset looks amazing!
with the sunsets there, I think you could do really bright colors... maybe bright fall-ish colors that will really match the sunset or like oranges, pinks..... something like that.... i think you could totally do that with the time of year your wedding is.. and the sunset there

You can do so much with this!!! Yellows, oranges, pinks, purples, whites, blues, they all go together.....
I think I would pick a nice orange or yellow dress for the BMs and then have their BKs all the above colors with blue bows or something like that.

you could do like i am. im doing pinks, oranges, and yellows. i want it to be like a summer sunset. my bridesmaids are hopefully wearing a coral shade with bright orange/yellow bouquets. and the groomsmen will have the same thing, coral ties, with bright boutenierres(Sp?). i plan on doing all the floral arrangements in bright colors, sort of like the flowers i have in my photo album on here.
since you plan on doing the same thing it will look amazing at the VYC with that view! i would keep everything bright with a lot of reds, yellows, oranges, pinks.

That thought went through my head a few times too. I swear I can't make a decision. I want to find a place by the water also...so I thought the sunset colors would look AMAZING...but then theres a huge part of me that loves baby pink and ivory. AHH!! hehe. Thankfully you made up your mind..it's going to look beautiful!! I can't wait to see what you do!
