Color I like for Countertop

What do you think? This has been the hardest thing for us to decide on.

i like dark color countertops. what are you doing as far as color of cabinets what finish? i think ruby looks really nice i actually have a pic of a kitchen that i worked on with that color i have to find it tomorrow at work and ill post it for you. the cabinet color was a cheery wood in a natural shade very light it look great and they did contrasting shades on the backsplash it looked very classy

Our cabinets are a very light maple. I wanted to do this color because the dining room and living room have cherry floors and since it is all open I wanted to try to tie the rooms together somehow. I was worried about the contrasting woods but I think this color countertop will help bring it together. I really like the pompei red but Ray won't go for it.

pompei red is really nice too. i think that constrasting colors are really in right now and mixing woods looks very nice if you have a focal point like a countertop to tie it all together .

I just hope that when we are all done everything looks OK! Because I am worried about a lot of the stuff matching now Since we took the walls down the kitchen , living room, and dining room are like 1 big room.
