ok.. my MOH and 2 of my BMs fell in love with some of the Jim hjelm dresses... but my problem is they don't seem to come in the color i want.. and i really don't want to change my colors because the meeting we had with florist was all about those colors... the linens, flowers.. it all ties in with the theme and feel i'm going with.. i know you can't really go with the swatches on the website cause they are really off... but none of them even seemed similar..they weren't bright enough maybe. does anyone know if any of his dresses come in a color like this blue??
and if not.. who's style is most similar to his.. i really like the classic long ..slim fitting gowns.. all of my BMs are crazy thin..lol.. so i know they can pull it off.

hmmmm...I can't help you with the color thing because i'm a watters and watters girl but I have a little suggestion to make because I ran into the same problem when my wedding was in July and my color scheme was different. I wanted a particular shade of hot pink that was very difficult to find, a lot of labels didn't carry that shade, so i basically just did a lot of research on my own and tried to find as many dresses as I could in the color I wanted. Then out of those dresses, I chose the ones that were acceptable to me and I had them choose from those..that way, you could still have them wearing the color you want and they still get to wear a dress they chose! HTH!

First off JH dresses are superb. You have to go into a salon where they carry his line, I am sure you can get the dress you desire in ANY color you want. Online colors and dresses do not compare to what is out there in stores.

Yeah I know what you mean! That happened to me too it really *****, but I hope you end up getting the perfect dress for your BMs!

This is very true. I got my Jim Hjelm dresses from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. They have all of the swatches there and if you want them to order you one they will. I got my swatch 2 weeks later. I LOVE JIM HJELM BM DRESSES!!!

that's great.. i have an appointment to look at gowns at bridal reflections in mass. in a couple of weeks.. and since it's only about 15 minutes away we are then gonna check out lillette's.. so i will def. ask them to see some swatches!! thanks a lot
