Color Kinetics...

Color Kinetics...

I just recently got a quote for COLOR KINETICS from my dj company.....$1200

To me, that seems steep...especially since 1 side of my rh is all glass windows, so it's for like 3/4 of the room...

Can anyone share what their getting it for?

(oh and color kinetics is the lighting around the room, different colors to add some ambience)

what are you getting with that? Plasma screens? Zap Photos? or is it just a straight quote for playing music for 4 hours? We paid about that much, but included in that is the music for the ceremony and CH since it's all in one. We're not doing Plasma's b/c our RH in the WGP room at Fox Hollow and I didn't want to pay an extra 1K for screens that may be blocked out by the sun

mmmmm I think it depends on what type of fixtures they are using for lighting the room. Are they doing several fixtures?

Is that just for lighting or is it lighting and music? If it's just lights ... sounds like a lot to me, but I haven't priced it at all so I really don't know.

Noooo - it's just for the color kinetics

Color kinetics is the specialty lighting - pinpoint lighting colors on walls....do you know what I'm talkign about?

When I looked at Apple Entertainment, we were quoted a price like that just for lighting. We decided not to use them because the price was too high.

My fiance' owns an Electrical Business, and our clients sometimes request the Color Kinetics for their homes and such....That Price is About Right - Usually, to have one tech show up - it will run you about $1500.00 - Youre kinda getting a deal! Good Luck!!
