Color of FG dress a problem?

My dress is dark ivory. But FG (FH niece) is going to another aunt 's wedding in July. Since FBIL lost his job, we did not want to ask them to purchase another dress.

Her dress is white.

Will it clach with the darker ivory dress?
What accessories do I need to match to. My dress or hers?

My invitation are ivory and I was going to get an ivory ring pillow.

IMO I think that you're better off getting a dress for the FG. Here's my advice:

1. You might be able to find a fairly inexpensive ivory dress on sale at Macy's or JCPenney because of Easter. I am going to check this out myself.

2. I found this great website, britchesandbows.com, that sells very inexpensive FG dresses.

3. There is this store in the Massapequa area that sells slightly used dresses. They have them in a few other places as well. I can't think of the name of it. You will prob be able to find something there as well.

I'd get another cheaper dress.

At Century 21 in Westbury they have many US ANgels dresses in many colors/styles for 49. & cheaper, amongst many other Easter dresses. If you can, I'd go this route.

you might be able to find an inexpensive dress in an ivory or other completmentary color to you wedding with it being so close to easter right now...

also ballerina collection has some reasonably priced FG dresses
