I just went to my first fitting last night...i think I messed up. My dress is 'white' so I bought white shoes. But now seeing the shoes against the dress they are definately not the same.
The woman at the bridal shop said the dress is more of a 'silk white', which appears creamier than a regular white.
Now what do I do???? OF course the shoes are non-refundale (Craft Shoes)...I'm not even sure an ivory shoe would match either.

Re: Color of shoes
I got dyeable shoes. I took a swatch of the fabric from my dress and they matched perfectly.

Re: Color of shoes
i have the same issue - i wanted a WHITE dress and it came in and it looked ivory. no one told me that 'silk white' was different. however, can you see your shoes under the dress? my dress is so long and poofy that you cant even see my feet (exactly why i am wearing flip flops, per FHs request, and not telling my mom, who forbid me too)

They are dyeable...do you think they can match the color of dress even it's not white, but not ivory either?

Re: Color of shoes
Yes, they can. Every wedding dress designer's colors of white and ivory vary. I am sure that if you can get just a small swatch( or even something that is the same color) they can dye your shoes for you.

Oh Lord! 15 shades! I had my white dyeable shoes died white for my jr. prom. the looked fiemnto start but the store told be they had to be died. I remember there being options, but 15! wow.
So yes, as long as they are dyeable, you absolutely have nothing to worry about. Ask the store for a swatch when they do alterations. Either the store where you bought them or a shoe repair store should be able to dye them.
