ok so ive been having a really hard time choosing colors for my wedding i wanted BRIGHT summer colors but i just cant seem to find anything that i like... i originally thought about doing orange and pink but then couldnt find dresses that i liked so i then moved on to coral and ivory and again couldnt find the right color coral.. so now im thinking maybe ill go with the pink and brown.. but i feel maybe its too drak for june.. but i really do love the way it looks.. any suggestions???

also.. thought i liked the idea of black dresses with bright color flowers cuz with a black dress the girls could reuse them.. but my mom wants too happy when i said black and my grandmother would prob die if she heard me saying that.. she thinks white= virgin and black = death

i dont think that is too dark for june. pink is very summery in my opinion. and i love the way brown looks too! do you have pics of dresses that you are thinking about??

My favorite colors, other than what I am doing, are sage and like a baby blue...they look soooo pretty together...ill try to find you some pics

yeah my mom would prob think black was really weird too....but, she thinks a lot of things that i tell her are weird!

no shes not i remember talking to her about it and she said black dresses and i did one of these then thought it was a great idea

I was in my cousin's wedding in Oct and we had black dresses. The dresses were amazing and the black made the flowers actually stand out even more. It was a fall wedding so it was a little easier to pull off. At first my family wasn't happy when my cousin picked the black but they got over it because it was her day not theirs. While I plan my own wedding I am trying to keep that in my mind. I want brown tones for my girls and my family thought i was nuts then i showed them a few things and they actually started liking it. Go with your gut feeling

I wonder if it would be too warm though. Look at DAvid's Bridal (if you like it) and Alfred Angelo. I've seen some beautiful coral dresses. I love the coral and sage or mint green combo. That would be beautiful for a June wedding

Actualllllllly, I switched to fuchsia (hotttt pink/raspberry color) and green - I couldn't find orange flowers I loved...
BUT! Meggo, I think pink and brown are GORGEOUS! I think the whole 'its not the right season to wear that color' thing went out the window when women started wearing white in the winter!

That was the same dress I wore for my BF wedding but it was in a wine color. Sooooo pretty and it looked great one and has a great fit. That is a really nice color for a summer wedding
