So i'm getting married on a friday night in August.
I'm not having a black tie wedding, but i want the girls to wear black dresses.
Too dark for August? My mom seems to think so. I dont really care.
I figure black tea legnth dresses with pink flowers.

My cousin had black dresses and dark red flowers for her August wedding. I think you can do whatever you want. It's YOUR wedding.

I think you can wear black any time of the year, but that the material you choose is what's going to make it more/less formal, and more/less summer appropriate. Don't pick a thick satin or a heavy lace and you should be good.

It sounds beautiful..I am doing long brown and pink dresses for my night july wedding. People have told me it is more of a fall color, but I don't care because I love the way it looks
