i could really use some advice and suggestions here because I'm having a hard time finalizing my color scheme and I have a few questions. I'm thinking i'd really like to combine sage green, chocolate brown, gold, pink, and ivory (Let me know if you think that's too much). Here's what I have so far:
My girls are going to be wearing sage green dresses. I'd like their bouqets to be pink and ivory, but I'm not sure how to incorporate the gold or chocoalet brown. Suggestions?
The centerpieces are going to be trees with pink orchids.
I'm thinking chocolate brown place cards with green ink.
Should my linens be a champagne color, ivory, or brown (Maybe the brown is too much?)
How about the tuxedo's. I dont like the idea of having solid sage green vests and ties at all! I was thinking maybe gold and incorportaing green into the ties somehow, but I can't really picture it and i'm not sure if it'll look right.
I could really use some help pulling this all together!!

Re: Color scheme help
I'm a very visual person, so I'm having a hard time combining all of these colors in my head.
However, what I do know is that I'm not sure how I feel about the chocolate brown in that mix- at least not if it is covering a large area. I feel like the chocolate brown & sage green will wind up standing out the most, and you might lose the pink, gold, and ivory in the mix.
I think it might look nicer to have small, subtle hints of chocolate brown if you really want it.

Re: Color scheme help
I know that I wanted to include all the fall colors in my scheme and a lot of people tried to talk me out of it. I am so glad I went with my gut...everything has it's own place (sometimes subtle) and it is going to look great. So if you like that many colors then go for it. I think brown would look good with the pink centerpieces, but linens sounds like too much. Maybe do ivory linens and have brown in your menues and place cards. I think the dark color should be used as more of an accent since it looks like your wedding date is in march.
