Hey girls! My dress is ivory with a rum pink sash. I have always wanted light blue bridesmaid dresses. I found some pics of two different girls wearing my dress who both used light blue bridesmaid dresses with it. Can I get everyone's opinions on how you think it looks together? Thanks!
I like the colors for the dresses, i think they go together very well. But i wouldn't do all the little details in pink and blue or it might start to look like baby showerish. For example.. i wouldn't pick pink and blue invites or have pink and blue flowers on the cake... but i would do it for the dresses, it looks really pretty

I don't think it looks bad, but I will be honest the first thing I thought when I saw it was baby shower because of the pink and blue.

Not my personal taste but its pretty. I think you can pull it off if you use diff colors in the boquets so its not all blue, pink and white. JMO but if you love it, thats all that matters.

I don't think the colors look bad together, but I agree on staying away from trying to make pink and blue you're color combo. Maybe you can have your flowers and decor coordinate with the blue BM dresses. I wouldn't suggest pink flowers with blue dresses, but then again, it's your wedding so do whatever will make YOU happy!

I agree it looks a little babyshowerish but the color combo is very pretty. I personally would go with a slightly brighter turquoise (not tiffany blue, but a little more color than those dresses) so they stand out a little. Then again, I love color.
I'll play around in photoshop and show you what I mean.

What about something more like this? Something about the flowers is bugging me and maybe something like this might be better? I also included a pic of a bouquet that goes with your color scheme
Much better. Maybe if you keep it more on the brighter blue then baby blue, it wont be baby showerish. How about doing celadon green or chocolate brown for the girls? Those 2 colors go great with light pink.

celedon green would be beautiful. I saw a pic of a table setting with a turquoise and pink and it was gorgeous too.
OMG I love the brighter blue photoshopped dresses! I have no clue how you did that, but I love it! That is the exact shade of blue I would love to find. It a mix between baby blue and tiffany blue. I LOVE IT! Thanks so much for helping me! Also...I did not like the bouquets in the actual pictures either! They just did not look right. The ones you photo shopped look much better!
