Re: color theme-debating it
I think you'll be fine...if that is what you want, that is what you want. It's your wedding, which means, you get to set the style. I think the butterflies give it a more spring effect. I think the only thing making it look 'fall' is the orange. Even so, you could always change it to a pink.

I like it, but I agree a little bit about the orange and brown together, kind of makes it look autumny. I def. like the light blue, brown and white. Very pretty.

you could definitly use yellow...or white, or a tan color....they would all look pretty with the blue and brown...

i think the colors are beautiful and will perfect for may. i think by having the blue makes it not so fallish. if it was just the brown and orange maybe but mixing the blue in is a nice touch!

I think the colors are very pretty together. They do look like fall colors. But its your day and if its what you want then go for it. Just check that those flowers are in season in May. Very Pretty though!!

Hey date twin!!! I totally understand what you are saying. I love love love fall colors but felt that it just didn't seem right for an early May wedding. I too wanted to go with different shades of orange and merlot. I ended up going with champagne, ivory and gold which I think can work with any season.
I really like the turquois and brown. I think that will look fantastic especially with a setting like Crest Hollow. What you can do is meet with florists and get ideas for floral color schemes. They will probably tell you to stick with more nuetral tones like cream colors, pale yellows, ect because there are no brown or turqois flowers-I could be wrong though...What the florst will do is add the brown and turqouis into different accents/accessories in your and the BM's bo-k's and centerpieces. You can also incorporate the brown and turqois into you menus, pace cards, invitations, program, ect..another idea is using more candles than flowers. Candles go with everything! HTH
