Colored Crinoline Slip

Does anyone know where I can buy one, or instructions on how to dye one?

Also I would love a hot pink slip, but my wedding colors are fall colors.. would this look weird? Should i just stick to the color scheme?

Chances are you will not see even a hot pink slip under all the layers of dress material. Slips are generally white/beige/nude or black. Depending on your needs (full or half slip - dye a white one which is easy - go to michael, ac moore, walmart and buy some dye in your color choice - easier option but a hot pink silk chemise and use that

Isn't there a risk of the slip dying your dress - especially if it rains??

Ohh i ment the crinoline slip thing that goes under the dress. Ive seen pictures of it and you do see it like during the garter or just dancing. I know there was a topic on here last year about how to do it and i forgot to bookmark it. But maybe ill look in joanns for the dye.. i guess it wont be that hard.

Oh did not know you meant the crinoline layers. DOn't know if you want to chance dying that on your own. The material seems tricky.

I dyed mine- there are pics in my DIY album. I tried it on w/my dress and you cannot see it though the dress at all.
I bought regular dye at walmart. (blue because it is going to be my something blue) I followed the directions on the box. I did it in my washing machine with HOT water. I used a log ruler (or stick) to move around the slip while it was going through the cycle. So that it dyed evenly- not tie dyed! It came out wonderful!!! I only left it in for about 15 minutes, it looks darker while wet but is lighter when it dries.
After I emptied the washing machine- washing it w/o soap with regular water to get the excess dye out. Then hug it dry. It came out amazing- no tie dye spots.. I love it!!! It's so different!!!

FM me if you need anymore info!!
