Just wondering what color to have my girls wear, I want a different color than lavender, that seems to be the color everybody uses. I kind of have my eye set on a light green called celadon. Any suggestions?? How did you decide?

Find a dress you love first, then narrow down the colors offered. That's the easiest. Have the girls vote if you can't narrow it down enough. Here is mine for my 7/7/07 wedding. Very fun. I'm getting married outside in a gazebo then recept. inside & out (patio). The 1st dress is mine. The 2nd is a color I loved from David's bridal.
don't ask me... keep changing my mind once a month!

My girls are wearing Euro Celadon from Bill Levkoff, its very nice. I'm gonna do their flowers in shades of purples/pinks/creams.
Green is both my Fh and my favorite color, so thats why we leaned that way. It looked nice on all my girls too...

Celadon is a gorgeous color. It depends what look/feel you are trying to go for. Do you want to play to the season (for you summer) or the RH? Do you have a theme?
I wanted to play off the colors used at our RH and have a really elegant, romantic style. The colors we're using are ivory, gold and champagne. Here is my BM's dresses Good luck

That's what I did. I found the dress I loved and then looked at what colors they offer and then sorta built everything else around that.

I always knew I wanted my girls to wear black. I just think it looks elegant and flatters everyone. So it was really easy for me to choose.

I was thinking of the same color, but then decided that if I went with green I liked moss better (from afetr six). but now I am considering a platinum too.

How I decided: I thought about my BM's skin tones, body types and chest sizes ( ) as well as the season. For me, it's Fall. So, I figured I'd go with a darker color. So, I'm thinking of a rich/deep red like Apple by David's Bridal or Claret by Alfred Angelo. Also, asking your MOH or one of your BM's to try a dress on in the color you choose could also be helpful! I saw my MOH in a teal and thought - oh no way! And it was red ever since Good luck! Whatever you choose - both you and your BMs have to like. Best of luck!

well the time of year played a big part of it. my girls are wearing wine ( like a super dark purple) and purple is my fave color. i was actually looking at the same green color you were thinking about. very pretty!

We're doing a very soft, pale pink.... the color looks beautiful on everyone, and I looooove pink flowers!
I think that for summer, a very light pink or baby blue looks nice!
You can really use any color though -- at first we were thinking of using black (which is always flattering!, but FH didn't like the idea...).

My colors are Ivory and Kiwi. Always thought I'd go w/ pink dresses but my girls fell in love w/ the dress that had these two colors.
