After a lot of flip flopping, I've decided to go with a very pale yellow and a light purple/lavender color

Told you before but i'll say it again lol.. LOVE your colors.. its going to look so pretty!

i dunno ladies...i thought i was set on white with accents of black/deep red/pink, but now I've seen those amazing blue orchids and I'm thinking black and blue....god i'm so indecisive...thoughts?

I'm the same way.. going back and forth btwn my accent colors being green or orange/fuchsia. But we have plenty of time to figure it out!

Maybe when you start to check out florists you can discuss both color options and see what they suggest and what you like better. That's what I plan to do although I think I'm leaning more towards the orange/fuchsia already.. lol

Umm.. I guess when you plan to start booking things such as your florist (unless they give you an option of choosing your colors/flowers after booking when its closer to your date).Or when you decide to start looking at bridesmaids dresses then I think you should know by then or figure it out in the process.


Also, if you plan to do your invites, STD's or any other items where you want it to match your color scheme then I would also suggest you decide before doing/buying any of these things so everything will match.

Blue Orchids are beautiful!

Navy blue and ivory/tan would be nice with those.
Even purple would be good

I think I am going with a bold purple. I want the bouquets to include shades of purple.
I really like this shade.

i always wanted black and white because of it's classic timeless look....and then my FH's family passed a comment that black at a wedding is bad luck...well i'm not about to give up my dream for black and white...i just decided to add in some color too...i decided on mostly white with accents of black/deep red and bright pink


i also wanted to do black bridesmaids dresses because what girl won't re-wear a black dress....i eve thought about letting each girl pick out their own....but then someone also pointed out if i do black bridesmaid dresses, and the majority if girls at the wedding also wear a LBD, my bridesmaids won't really stand out....thoughts????

my girls are wearing black. They're basically tea length and they're convertible dresses. Each dress is the same so you can tell who is in bridal party. But they are also wearing hot pink shoes and our flowers are that color too! I want to have another hot pink accent to make them stand out more--maybe floral hair piece, or statement jewelry... i havent decided yet!
and like you said---who wouldnt rewear a black dress? they're not bridesmaid-sy at all!

I'm doing White with a Dark Green and some pale yellow accents. I associate green with the month of March and yellow with Easter. My wedding is in March, the weekend before Easter. And YES. There will be Green and Yellow Peeps on the table... because I'm doing a 'Lovebirds' theme... and really, what's Easter time without Peeps?!?!?!

I am doing Tiffany blue with black, white and some silver. I wanted purple but the FH did not want purple

those are very light colors, it would def work in the summer. I'm sure your florist could pick a bright, bold color to bring it out too!

My brother and FSIL are doing an eggplant purple, with ivory and sage green. it looks amazing. Purple is a really fun color to play with bc it will look good in any season IMO

After arguing with myself and being concerned w the season I have finally decided on chocolate brown And pale pink. I LOVE it, previously I was thinking sage and pink but it just did not fit Fh and I. It is easier for me to plan w re colors in my head now. Hth
