Re: Colors for a September Wedding

You can really use whatever colors you want. My sister had a Sept. wedding and her favorite color is blue so she worked around that. The bridesmaids dresses were navy blue and the flowers were a mix of colors...white, blue, purple/pink. Whatever your favorite color is you can use it. If I were having a Sept wedding I might use orange and pink and brown or something like that. Sort of summer colors but transition to fall.

Hi Jen,

Is this the Jen Chirles from Ursuline? This is Justine! Congrats on your engagement!! I love the Surf Club I am getting married September 5, 2010 so I am using more summer colors-tiffany blue and ivory with black accents. Good luck planning and feel free to fm me with questions anytime.

Pick your favorite colors and go with them, no matter the season!

I am using navy blue and yellow-- but go with whatever you like! It's a flexible time of year to do whatever your heart desires...

Im sept 2010 too.

My main color will be a dark eggplant/plum purple. I'm going to incorporate some raspeberry too. I'm looking for a very rich color pallete.

I'm using a darker Lilac for MOH and JrB and lilac for FG. I think with how mild September usually is you can go with anything.

It can be whatever you want, you may want to research what flowers are in season and things like that.
