Okay, my FH is wearing his Marine Corp uniform for half of the wedding and his tux for half of the wedding, his 'dress blues' are a deep navy and almost look blackish. I was wondering what you girls think about the BM dresses................ 1.)Navy Blue.........
2.)Platinum/Sterling...very pretty silverish blues
3.)Black.............I have always loved this idea
Its a winter wedding so any of them will do, opoinions please??????????????
I'm having BLACK BM dresses - Everyone around me thinks I'm insane, but I think it's the most classic, elegant look - I might stay away from Navy b/c there is no possible way the shade of the BM dress will be same as your husband's uniform (which by the way, i LOVE the idea of him wearing his uniform!!)

I am partial to black, my BM's are wearing it. I agree the navy blue might be hard to match.
That was a great help actually, I never thought about the blue not being the same or that his buttons are gold, maybe obvious details, but I overlooked them! LOL, and yes I love the idea of him wearing the uniform also. The red is something that I never thought of but now will consider as well.
I love black and think it is the most elegant as well. My sister, MOH, doesn't share my love for the idea, and I want everyone to be happy so while it is still an option it is no longer my only one.
Be cautious w/ Platnium/Silver - It is a beautiful color and looks great on everyone, I wore it as a bridesmaid. - But my cousin's wife was unhappy b/c in the pictures, it looked like we were ALL wearing white !! Just something to think about !
