COLORS FOR MAY 2008 WEDDING

I'm getting married in May 2008, and was considering a Hunter green or maroon for bridesmaids and theme color. I would like to know if either of those colors would be suitable for May

Use whatever colors you like. They aren't any steadfast rules, though lots have opinions. Just choose whatever colors you like best and make you happy!

I'm getting married May '08 also, and the BMs are wearng spruce (hunter green with a little blue in it). We'll have pink flowers to keep it springy.

You're the bride, anything you want is suitable!. They can all wear purple with yellow polka dots if that's what you want!!

it's dark.. but honestly.. it doesn't matter these days.. I am sure it will be gorgeous just the same

Very Nice!! Im getting married May 23, 2008 and Im doing apple red. I think as long as you arent doing black you will be fine

do whatever colors YOU want to do with no regard to the month, season, or time of day..

believe me u will drive urself CRAZY trying to match colors to the season, or month. and then before u know it u'r expanding in u'r delusions... .. and trying to match the colors to the bms' skin complexion.. and then one day u will hit the epitome of bride craziness when u try to match u'r bridesmaid dresses to the chairs in u'r reception hall room..

yes this is my story.. yes it's true.. don't ask..

just go for what u like..

def use whatever color you like best! If your worried it will be to dark you could always use a lighter shade of the color to make it brighter :) Good Luck!
