Colors for the bridesmaid dresses

Colors for the bridesmaid dresses

So now that I have my dress I need to focus on the girls. We are getting married in July so I feel like I am limited. I would love to do brown with splashes of summer colors. Like a brown dress with a yellow ribbon or sash? What do you think? I know that anything goes but I don't want the dresses to clash with the flowers at our venue.

i agree its beautiful...we are doing navy blue and yellow. it doesnt matter what time of the year it is...anything will look beautiful!

My sister, MOH, was thinking the brown and blue as well. I think that looks awesome as well.

Any color will be great for BM dresses. You might want to use the fact that it is summer and go for really bright or light colors. It depends on what type of color scheme you have in mind.

My friendis using Navy Blue and Yellow. I think it will look great. You really can't go wrong with Brown and a bright color.

I'm also getting married in July (2 days after you ) and want dark purple (the color is called Euro Eggplant...Bill Levkoff)BM dresses. I think you can use whatever color you like no matter what time of year you get marrried in. There are no 'rules' anymore!

Ahh we are getting married two days apart? Have you booked any vedors yet? We have a few lined up but didn't book anything???
I love your color! What a great idea? You could use any kind of flower with that as well..

Im doing a blue and brown theme...this way its still a summer theme and i ge the classy brown in :)

I love the brown and pink or blue or yellow. I am just nervous that it will clash with the black tuxes and summertime flowers.

i don't think you have to worry about brown dresses clashing w/ summer flowers if you coordinate them with your splash of color in the sash. brown dresses and black tuxes, on the other hand, i'd have to see together to know how i felt about the combo. JMO

I love the idea of brown with a yellow sash...you could do any color with brown.

I've seen alot of brown dresses with black tuxes- it's not as big as a fauz pas as it used to be- they do make brown tuxes though that aren't that bad at all.... As far as the brown and blue, I'm a fan! Especially when its a turquoise or aqua blue.
