Colors opinion Update

So i wanted to do Pink, Silver & White.

The room we'll be in at Jericho Terrace has gold chandaleers (wow i cant spell) and all that.

Do you think silver will look silly? Should we switch it to Pink gold and white?

im not a yellow gold kinda girl. Im white gold all the way and everyone laughs ate me. i HATE yellow gold and refuse to wear it. would i have to if we did pink gold and white as colors?

i also want my dress to be white lacey but very bling bling silver crystals. i think that would look silly if we did pink gold and white.

ughhh

p.s. we're in the skylight room

update... so ive been stalking the brides review and just found out that JT uses gold trimmed plates!!

so now..

pink gold and white

or pink champagne and white? hmmmm

i'm exactly the same way. i really dont like wearing yellow gold, so it's always white gold or platinum the entire way!

i actually dont think it'll be silly. most halls do have a lot of gold accents, but you can just cover up the chairs with some chiffon and honestly, silver and gold don't look too bad together.

i think you should stick with your original color scheme. if you change it to accommodate the RH, you'll look back and regret it.

we're getting chair covers, and i want to hang something from the back of the chairs but in silver. i just want to make sure it wont look bad with the gold hanging from the ceiling or whatever.

i wanted to switch to the room with all the silver. but we wont have anywhere near enough people :(

I think you will be fine - my friend did Pink and Green and it looked fine! I think the silver will look really nice there.

depends on what you want to use the silver for?

if its just a few accents here and there then it will be fine

if it silver all over the place then I would probably go for gold

i was thinking of putting the girls in a silver or gray dress with a pink sash.

i also wanted to put silver glittery things on the back of each chair.

it would be a decent amount of silver

im going to do pink white and gold b/c of that reason my room has a lot of gold accents and a lot of reds so i am going to do the deep fuschia pink with white and gold... my dress will most likely have silver beading .... bud im not worried about that b/c its just gonna look sparkley not so much silver u know? I'm also not going to go crazy with the gold... just like the chargers will prob be gold and maybe little accents here and there with candles and menu

I think the silver or grey dresses will be fine honestly. I'm not a fan of gold either.

I'm not so sure about the chairs though. I think that may be too much.

What about copper or champagne pink and silver?

I think that would coordinate well with the gold chandeliers.

thats what im now thinking of changing it to, to match the room.

i'm gonna bring my mom there on sunday and see what she thinks :)

i think it would look fine. no one is going to look up and say oh those are yellow gold and these are silver...

i am with you on the yellow gold though too.. not a huge fan. used to be, but mot anymore.

I am white gold all the way as well. However, I think that you should go with the colors you want. I don't think anyone will notice the differences but you. Eithery way though, I think that your color choices will be beautiful!

I say pink chanpagne and white. If you really dislike yellow gold that much, than I think champagne is the best choice (JMO).

... and I also do not think that it is necessary to wear yellow gold. Wear what makes you happy!!!
