I really like the color champagne. Right now, I'm thinking of a cream, champagne, gold color scheme with maybe green and pink accents...
Anyway, I am thinking of having my bm's in champagne dresses. One of my BMs said that would not look good in pics with my white dress (rather than ivory). My dress is just plain white satin with pick-ups.
Am I missing something because I think those color look just fine together? Does anyone have any pics of this combo?

My cousin had champagne colored dresses for the BM and personally I thought it looked beautiful. She DID recommend that I don't do it for mine because she wasn't happy with the way they photographed...I really thinking it depends on the dress style and how deep or light the champagne is...IMO!

I thought the same thing but i saw pics of the color together and it looks great
i am in a friends wedding this sept and we are also having champagne colored dresses....it will look beautiful!!! get what you want...its your wedding

I am doing yellow and have heard the same -
In black and white pics, the colors may blend but if your dress has pickups and there' dresses do not, I think you will have a good contrast
(I have a pick-up dress too)

My cousin's BMs had champagne color dresses and it looked extremely elegant. I think you should go for it, esp. if it is what YOU want. That is what is important.

i concur. ultimately though, it's your wedding and you should do what you love. don't take her comments to heart too much.

I think champagne looks beautiful especially next to an Ivory colored gown. I was going to do champagne and regret that I didn't although the color of my BM dresses were pretty it's not what I originally wanted. I decided to take everyone's opinion instead of my own.

i was going to go with champagne but when i saw it at the store, it looked really washed out to me. i went with a slightly darker shade that was equally stunning. I think champagne maybe better suited to the summer months... here's a pic!
I am doing champagne with black sashes to break it up. If you do a search for the term champagne bm, a ton of boards come up with a zillion pictures. I actually held a champagne dress in the store next to a white wedding gown. I was concerned too, but its so classy and the dresses didn't come in any other color that i was sold on. The only thing I am worried about are the black and white pictures.
