Colors: Red & Pink?

Colors: Red & Pink?

Anyone do this color scheme? My BM's have Apple red dresses and I want to incorporate some pink. Does anyone have pictures to share? I'm not quite sure what shade of pink, possibly light, or even hot pink?

I went to a vry upscale NYC wedding where the bridesmaids wore RED and their flowers were hot pink and red roses combined. It sounded strange but to be honest, it was UNREAL. So unreal that I wanted to copy it for myself. It was very elegant and understated. Unfortunately it is on PICTAGE.com and I cannot save it without buying it. If I can figure out a way to do it, I will do it later when I have more time to post.

I am actually thinking about doing these colors too - what do the bridesmaid dresses look like, I would love to see a picture because apple red is exactly the color I am looking for.

I am thinking about doing this too! At first I thought about doing a red/fall theme, but I love pink too. Britney Spears did it for her weeding and it looked great.

I think Butterfly91804 did pink and red and it looked great!

I think it was the last issue of Brides magazine they said how romantic red and pink were together.

i was thinking of this color scheme for myself to except the girls would wear cream colored gowns to make the flowers stand out a bit.

I'm doing deep burgundy dresses, with hot pink bouquets for the girls, my mom is wearing bright pink, and my centerepieces will be alternating of one centerpiece of all burgundy, and one of all hot pink, my florist was fawning when I told him about my idea, he loved it

My girls are wearing red. I really want pink & red too. I want to throw a bit of chartreuse in it too. I've seen some outrageous stuff in some of the bridal mags.
