Because I am not in the mood to drive there on a holiday weekend, and I know a lot of cool things happen on the east end...I want to go check out the vineyards, and on Sunday of that weekend there is a big fair in riverhead on main street.

Re: Columbus Day Weekend

Oh ok Scott, I was just wondering.

What kind of fair in Riverhead? The vineyards are nice. What about a B&B? Sorry I don't know of any because my in-laws have a summer place that we always stay at. Too bad my DH is working that weekend.

Re: Columbus Day Weekend

Scott, check out Cape May , NJ its so cute. They have all bed & breakfasts there

When we go we usually stay in Wildwood Crest which is 2 miles away and a lot cheaper.

WE usually stay @ pier 6600 ( in Wildwood Crest_).

There are some really cute B& Bs in Cape may. Its the cutest place. There are also some hotels/motels.Cape May
