Hey Girlies, Anyone else thinking about doing a combo Bachelor and Bachelorette party? My FH and I think we might just do it this way since it will be more fun to get twisted with everyone. Also, anyone considering a destination Party? I was thinking Miami and make it a weekend thing...but it could get pricey...

Yes but it tradition and to me it is more celebrating me getting married not so much me being single...that's just silly. It is supposed to be fun!! Not sure what I am doing yet though. Def. not combo. GMs want to take FH to vegas

i do understand the celbrating marriage thing...but with that being said...i would prefer to celebrate me getting married with the man im marrying. i dont know, i guess im weird for having zero interest in doing a bachelor/bachelorette party. when i told my family they freaked on me like its such an important part of the wedding..you would think it was like i said we arent having a ceremony or something

we are having a combo in Vegas then we are having separate ones here so ours friedns who couldn't make Vegas can celebrate here!

I think what would happen for us is girls and guys do their own thing during the day and than go out together at night. I have a very cool and outgoing FH that would dance with me and make it the best freakin party ever! He's really not into the whole strip club thing (thank you God!) and neither am I ( I went once to Escapes and almost peed my pants laughing...Blahhhhhh!). And we are so not traditional! But to each their own! Whatever happens it will be awesome!

i dont think we're going to do the combo thing...but i was also thinking of doing atlantic city for a weekend ...its not too far and they have some great deals....plus everything is there...great restaurants, clubs and spas we can do so much in just one weekend

FH and I want a Jack & Jill Bach. Party. FH isn't into strip clubs and I couldn't care less about going to a strip club either. Furthermore, his GMs are from out of state while my BMs are all from here, so it would be great for everyone to meet and hang out before the wedding. We were actually thinking of doing a Yankee game and then something afterward since FH and I, along with most the BP, are veryyy into sports. Any other ideas? We are still both in school, and fortunately my parents have paid up until now, but will stop paying (obv) after the wedding, and I'll be in my 2nd yr of med school so I'll be up to my eyeballs in debt lol... so we really don't want to blow a lot of money on Bach. Parties. Any ideas for a low budget J&J Bach. Party would be awesome.

I am having 2 parties one in Vegas with my bff's that live in San Diego (they are paying my way) and inviting all my friends and bp and cousins from NY.
Then I will have another one here with everyone!

i wanna go to the super bowl for mine. i'm the last of all my friends to get married... and all of them had these extravegant expensive parties... so they cant say no to my idea. lol
my fh wants the same thing. and i told him no way. he will not be going away 2 weeks before our wedding.

Well it usually has nothing to do with trust. If someone doesn't trust their future spouse, they shouldn't be planning a wedding. For me, I go out with my gfs all the time and FH sees his guy friends all the time, too. He's just not into strip clubs either. Furthermore, his GMs are all from Massachusetts, while my BMs are all from NY, so it would be awesome for us all to do something prior to the wedding. There's nothing wrong with having a combo bach. party, just as there's nothing wrong with having them separate. It's a matter of taste, and a matter of each couple's circumstances.

We are having separate parties. I really want a bachelorette party with all my girls! But after the wedding we might have a combo after party at a club. So everyone can kinda hang out some more. I trust my FH so im not worried about his bachelor party, we do have one rule though, we have to have our parties on the same night I wouldn't want to be home while he's out! I think I might be bored....

I want to do seperate. I want to do my thing with my girls and the boys can do their own thing. I dont know about going to far away with everyone since I wouldnt want it to cost too much. Maybe a weekend in AC
