No, It's in Tremezzo in the Lake Como Region....Northern Italy, closer to Switzerland.

Lake Como is supposed to be breathtaking!! I have a photo of it in my office that a friend brought back for me from her honeymoon - RAVED about it- gorgeous!!

Oh my gosh! As soon as I saw the pictures I was like that is the Grand Hotel Tremezzo!! You'll love it there. My family and I stayed there before and I recommended it to a friend who is going to Italy in September. Enjoy!!

Sage- It is absolutely beautiful there. You will love it! Are you going anywhere else? As far as restaurants, sorry I can't remember. It was a while ago and we were only there a few days. I have relatives up north so we just took a quick trip there. But I see you are getting married in October. My friend is going in September so if she mentions anything I will pass it along!
