comfy shoes for reception?

so i'm considering buying a pair of comfy shoes for the reception... but does the heel need to be exactly the same as my 'ceremony' shoe?

my ceremony shoe is 3 inches high ... i found a pair of flip flops that are 3 1/2 inches tall ... is that going to be a problem?

hmm.. well you figure your dress is going to be tailored to your ceremony shoes... so if your reception shoes are taller, then your dress will be shorter.

i'm most likely going to do the same thing... IF i ever find shoes
