Hello...I am newly engaged and have been stalking the boards for a few weeks now. I have decided to come out of hiding now. Mainly because I need venue help!
I went to Westbury Manor last night thinking I would love it and it would be a simple choice. Except it didn't happen. I didn't hate it, but definitely wasn't wowed as I thought (or more like my mother thought!). So help! We are looking towards October/November and will most likely end up with like 150 guests. Oh, and we want to stay in Nassau but open to Western Suffolk.
I look forward to actually talking wedding with ladies just as excited as me because I think my friends already want to kill me!

Congrats and welcome!! We didn't look at any places in Nassau but we've been to a wedding at fox hollow and the coral house, had a great time at both. November is considered off peak if you want to try and save some money. We wanted a fall wedding and April-October is considered prime wedding season and is more expensive so we took the first weekend in November and saved ourselves a lot of money that way....good luck on your search!

I just booked fox hollow in Woodbury, I fell in love! I'm a restaurant manager so service was one of my main concerns because I can't turn that part of my brain off and all the reviews and impression they have off tell me that I will be in great hands. Good luck!

Jericho Terrace wowed us. ive also heard good things about floral terrace, sand castle, Fox hallow and sea cliff manor

Congrats and Welcome!! I am a Jericho Terrace bride and as the ladies said above they definitely wowed us! I am getting married in Nov 2015 so I have the quotes for when you are looking to get married. Let me know if you need any quotes or have questions. I have quotes for a few RH's.

Welcome and congrats!! We thought the same thing but we fell in love with the Riviera, fox hollow was nice too but we weren't wowed... I would definitely look there though it is very nice. There's also Chateau La Mer... happy hunting =)

So many places to choose from all on different budgets: sand castle, fox hollow , chateau briand are a lil high chateau la mer, north ritz, jericho terrace, crest hollow are average priced riveria, swan club, lessing venues are a lot more budget friendly
