commack wedding center
Hi everyone, I need some opinions on the Commack wedding center, my FH and I went there yesterday to find out pricing because another girl recommended it, a little skeptical but the prices seem decent. They have wedding packages with one price including everything from flowers, dj, pics, video, limos, and wedding rings to even some small things like the money bag and garter. I need to hear from anyone that has heard anything from them to if they bought one of the packages any feedback would be much appreciated.

I GOT THE $7000.00 PACKAGE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. MY WEDDING ISNT TILL MAY THOUGH. BUT I HEARD THAT SOMETIMES U HAVE TO DISH OUT MORE MONEY THAN WHAT THE PACKAGE IS SO THAT U CAN UPGRADE SOME THINGS.

Re: commack wedding center
my sister used the package. Like the above poster said, she had to pay for a lot of estras and upgrades so it is really not 'all-inclusive' If you go see them and figure out all the extras and upgrades you will need they can give you that price. I didn't use the package there. Instead I picked all my own vendors and came out about the same, maybe even a little cheaper, than my sister. She was, however, very happy with everything from the Commack Wedding Center except for dress alterations. We just watched her wedding video and it was excellent. They did a whole disney themed one since thay went to disney on their honeymoon and love disney!

Re: commack wedding center
sorry girls,But I really didn't like the Wedding Center at all!
They were always soooo busy there. It was very hard to talk to someone. The place was always a ZOO!! So loud too! But we only picked the invites and the Bridesmaid dresses. They DID mess up those dresses, (of course)
So Good Luck with them.
Oh and PS If you can avoid it, DON'T SPEAK TO THE OWNER!! Sooo PUSHY and RUDE!!
I think his name is BOb. You'll know if you see him.

We used one of the packages and Loved them, everything was wonderful.I did not get dresses there, though. I thought the dress department people weren't very nice.

Re: commack wedding center
I'd have to agree. Commack wedding center DOES NOT have a very good reputation. I walked in and out-Quickly. And yes, the boss is obnoxious. Actually, where I got my dress in PAtchogue the woman who helped me used to work there. She says they are animals! And she's this sweet, old Italian lady!

Re: commack wedding center
I realize they don;t have the best rep, but I used them for my limo's, dj, pic, video, invites, flowers....I could not have been happier. Every place has both good and bad experiences.

I haven't heard much about Commack wedding center and was going to check them out myself just to compare with other vendors. If you really like the package deals, try checking out Queens Bridal as well. They have one office in Queens and two in Long Island, I believe. Anyway, I actually know a bunch of brides that used them in the past and were very happy with them.

Re: commack wedding center
I went there recently with my MOH (she's from out of state) to look at dresses. I've heard too many mixed reviews. Bascially we went there because they had a huge selection but I had no intentions on buying from there.BTW we got there when it opened, had an appointment and it was already a zoo. There was one bridal party of 13 there (UGH), my MOH and myself, and 3 other brides all booked for 10 am. We couldn't all stand in the area and there were only three dressing rooms.
Good place to get ideas but I wouldn't book there.
