I know there have been posts about them in the past, but I saw them for the first time at the bridal expo today, and had to give my opinion. They were terrible!! The entire fashion show was a commercial for this place- the dresses were wrinkled and didn't fit the models, and the owner just kept talking about how cheap he is and how other places will rip you off. Plus, when I told him where I am having my recpetion (sunset harbour) he tried to pretend that they refer people to him, but slipped up when he said that it used to be felices- it wasn't! I had to vent how annoyed I was by every minute I listened to his speil. At least the rest of the expo was okay!

I was at the expo as well. I was not too impressed with any of the dresses either. Nothing special. What's the deal with the cutting out the labels of the dresses?

they can charge you less! However when I went to find my dress for less there, they were only going to give me 100 dollars off (less than the place where I bought it) but with a HUGE attitude to go with it! I would rather pay $100 more to get better service and to feel comfortable that my investiment will be well taken care of. (I say all these things dispite the fact that my friend's mother works there!) I would still never get anything from them!

I got my dress and my bridesmaid dresses ther.. I had no problems with them and everything came out great. I even had to special oreder my dress because of the color and it came in way ahead of schedule and my bridesmaids dresses were in within a month. You just have to know that your are not going to get a white glove treatment but they will save yiou money

I had my bridesmaids order their dresses from them. THey were very conciderate and attentive. I knew the dress that I wanted for my bridesmaids but needed a jr. bridesmaids dress to match. I told her that it had to be Jim Hjelm since my bridesmaids were wearing Jim Hjelm ( I wanted an exact color match). She was very helpful and showed me many different things.

I have ordered my dress from them as well as my bridesmaid dresses. The key to the store is to go at off times. I had a very lovely lady who helped me with my dress and actually was not in a rush as all with me with no pressure at all. I have been to Princess Bridals and had a horrible experience with a pushy italian lady. I think the key to Commack is going at off times. All my bridesmaids live in different parts of the island and the city and they have accomodated them all. None of my girls have spent more then 15 mins in the store. They just went in, gave my name, took the dress tried it on, feel in love with it and got measured and left their deposits. (The ladies know my bridal party real well b/c my cousin is 6 foot and a size 2)All the girls have enjoyed there experiences there and I really think it is what you make of it. Also deal wise we were quoted around 200 bucks for my bridesmaid dress from a shop in bethpage and another in Massapequa Park and CWC is getting it for us for about 130 before tax! Package wise some of there packages seem too good to be true but I got my photography from them (the digital album) and my video guy and that's is it. The owner even stayed 3 hours past closing with just my mother and I, because my mom trusts no one. (Since, I am her baby and her only girl) I'm telling you ladies, after my wedding in JULY 02 if they screw anything up I will post a warning so huge that no one will go back but if it goes as well as I am hoping everyone will go there! From stories I have heard there business is better since they moved to the new store and the dresses at the showcase are horrible compared to the dresses in the store. But ya why that made me happy how much would it stink if the dress of your dreams was in the fashion show and not in the store!! argh! Oh with that coupon and the CWC prices I saved 250 on my dress. I can't complain. Laurie:)
