does anyone have any reviews or info about their package deals? they pretty much included everything needed for a wedding (dj, limos, flowers, etc) for about 6k. sounds almost too good to be true

I agree!!! Do not work with them. Your day is too special--I wouldn't trust all of those special details with them.

Re: commack wedding center
I absolutely HATE that place! We went there to get our dresses for my SIL's wedding last summer and the customer service was TERRIBLE , they get mad when you walk in and stare at you , no one asks you if you need help, we were clipping our own dresses while 3 women stood by us and gossiped.
Then for my wedding I gave in and went there just because I fell in love with a pricey BM gown and I wanted a deal the experience I had was unbelievable too much to rant about here...I ended up going to Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills and got an even better price and better service.
Save yourself the trip

Re: commack wedding center
Went dress shopping with my mother there while my poor fiance was waiting in the main lobby. He HATED it tremendously. They were hounding him about that package and getting this vendor that vendor all this stuff when he clearly didn't want it. The kept bugging him even when he said no.
As for my mom, she annoyed the heck out of me by wanting to go in there and 'look' at dresses. The ladies there are RUDE. plain and simple but my mom didnt care she got her dress there They told her she needed to have it rushed so added on to price which is reasonable since we went late. I asked what the expected normal date for dress was and they wouldnt tell me. They won't look it up until you buy the dress, well yeah because you have to pay rush fee first before they tell you an expected date. I dont see why you have to be shady about dates. Either the company has a mothers dress in stock or not... Other stores like metamorphosis could tell you by looking on the computer what was available. They also told her she needed to get a larger size than she is for her belly and she had to pay an extra fee for the large size. Now the dress falls straight off of her its ginormous all over. Luckily I went to pick up the dress on my own. They want her to do fittings there but I'm making my mom go elsewhere. They are not nice so I wouldnt want to deal with people or vendors like that on the day. The shop is super 80s looking, really old school stuff but the prices are cheaper than other stores.
Like I said, I dont' like the people there, so I wouldn't want to deal with anyone like them on the day.
to be fair though the dress came in on time.

You get what you pay for, either your service will be crappy or your product will be. I'll learned this the hard way in life.

Turn around and run!!!!
TERRIBLE customer service, I would suggest you spend the extra $$ and go somewhere else. I absolutely DESPISE that place and everyone who works there!! I went there once when I was planning my wedding and literally got kicked out the door at 6:59 because the ladies wanted to go home. More recently a friend of mine got her BM dresses there because of the price, well, when we went to pick them up we were there for like 3 hours because of MULTIPLE issues... I could go on and on about this place...seriously, just run!

The only good thing I can say about the place is they remember you if you go more than once. Oh yea, and I managed to win a wonderful dress for free.

Re: commack wedding center
A friend of mine used their photographer and she HATED her wedding photos.. I went there looking for a dress and to just check the place out and its really skeevy looking to begin with.. Although I didnt personally have a terrible experience I wont be going back there because of the horriffic reviews Ive read and also because of the bad experience my friend had...

If you want 1980's quality photo and video, then by all means, go for it. Otherwise, RUN!!! I wish I spent more money elsewhere, and now, for the rest of my life, I will regret it!

Jovigirl414 I saw your pics today. They are beautiful. It wasn't edited it was just the raw images but they had alot of potential. Did you go in for your post wedding consultation? Or are you basing this on your proofs?

Interestingly nella20005 looks like Commack Wedding Center incognito...Same as 'Mocha' on the thread I started 'Commack Wedding Center - vendors' (right now on page 2 of this board).

commack wedding center
I'm not affiliated with Commack Wedding Center. I'm a bride to be just like most of you ladies who just got engaged in August. I read everyone's feedback but a friend of mine whom I trust got a package at the wedding center for bridemaids dress and said she had no issue with them. So I went there on Saturday. I talk to the owner and mentioned what I read on LIWeddings. So he showed me Jovigirl414's pictures. He explained to me the process which made sence to me and explained where she dropped the ball. As for the future brides on this site, I don't believe what everyone says. I've taken alot of opinions and some suggestions were great... others make you think what were they thinking!?!?!!?!? Do I work for wedding center? NO!!!! Do I know the owner? No!!! I'm just a new future bride trying to have the best wedding I can have with the money I have. All I can say is there are two sides to every story and you have to see the face value of everything. Best of luck to all future brides!!!

But seriously I'm sorry that happened to you I'm sure you look beautiful either way!!
The owner of this place spoke at one of the expos I went to and that alone was a huge turn off because it sounded sketchy and he went on and on and on....

Re: commack wedding center
Dont even waste your time going. The way it's set up seems like you are shopping at a thrift store, very cluttered and random things everywhere. My Aunt got her dress there and they altered it wrong. The whole experience was a nightmare. Stay away!!

Wait, so a vendor actually tried to blame a previous client to make himself look better and justify why his client was unhappy with his subpar product? Sorry, that right there would be enough for me not to want to use them, let alone all the other reviews found not only on this site, but other sites as well.
