ya know what i dont like...when people make comments about my ring! today at work some guy who i never saw before looked at me and smiled, so, being the nice person that i am i smiled back. and then he says to the other peeople around...'i think this girl needs some therapy for her arm' (i work in a rehab facility, so it is a related comment to make where i work)...but of course i didnt realize he was talking about me b/c i was looking down at a patients medical record. But then he says...yeah cuz 'she's carrying that huge rock around' (which first of all is not that huge, but not like that matters) and he starts laughing....all i could say was....'hey, you dont see me complaining' but then, he proceeds to say...'yeah and look she even has one around her neck! (i was wearing a necklace with a diamond on it).....but i bet you her dad gave her that one!' (which he didnt, it was from my FH but i was not about to say that to him, it's really none of his business) ....grrr....i was so pissed off! i dont know why i get angry, but i just felt like he was being SO rude about it, not to mention i was embarrased by it. It just made me feel like a spoiled brat, (which i SO am not!!) anyway....just needed to vent! any comments? anyone have similar stories??

yeah they def. should sometimes...it's one thing if they are being nice, but he was just being rude. and the funny thing is, my hand was kind of under the chart i was reading, so i dont even kow how he noticed it. it's not like i was flashing it around or anything.

wow that really is rude...yes i've had similiar comments about mine, a co worker called me out one day in front of like 20 staff members (we were in a staff meeting) and i forgot how it came up, but she was talking about going on vaca with her man...and i was like wow your lucky!! i mean this was in november it is cold here and i wanted to go away!! so she comes back and says look at that huge rock on your finger, i don't think you should complain!!!!!!!!!!! i was mortified,,and remember, this was in front of 20 something people!

Yeah, I had someone tell me that my ring was so big (it's not really) and shiny...it must be fake!! I was like NO!!!! My man just loves me a lot!
