Since I have gotten engaged, the first thing people ask me EVERY DAY is 'so how is the wedding planning going?' And I always say I am done with the planning. and then without fail, a few days later that same person will ask me again!
It is also so annoying because they could be asking me about work, or my family, or my upcoming vacation... but nope!
Anyone else having issues at work?

My kids asked me a lot during the school year. And lots of people will ask where I'm getting married over and over. Still Westbury Manor people!

I got engaged when I was on short term disability from foot surgery. i think some people still don't even know. and I don't like the constant small talk about the wedding at work so I don't even discuss it

I work with mostly men so they don't bring it up. I usually don't like to discuss it at work anyway because I don't want to invite people that I work with.

LOL! this happens to me constantly every day. When i see someone from the other side of the office, they are always like so hows the wedding planning going and then i tell them and they arent that interested so i started telling people that im not plannin anything yet. lol

I used to get asked a lot, Did you get your dress yet???? Like ALL the time!!! I got so frustrated. Then a few weeks ago I actually got my dress, and the same people were like: You got your dress already!??!?!?! Can you EVER please ppl????

Well look at it this way they could not ask anything & then we would be like people never even care to ask about how my wedding is going. So i guess its a double edge sword. At least people care enough to ask something! Even if it is teh same q. over & over lol

haha no don't really get that much atwork (being im one of 6 women in an IT Department) where the rest are all guys.
Kinda good don't have to answer all the questions.But then Im on this site ALL DAY while I am doing work at same time.. hard too esp since I am a HD analyst so I talk to users on my headset all day, while looking at posts, gowns etc...lol

lol yes people always do ask...I think since its such a happy time they want to talk and probaly think we want to talk about it also...they mean well. I think its nice.

People at work know, but some other people ask me often.
What is stranger, is that people asked me, within a month of our engagement 'Did the wedding happen already?' And I was like, no, it's next year . . . . and they're shocked! Guess it's a VA thing, because no New Yorkers bat an eyelash when I say it! hehehe.
