We got 'wedding of the year' from someone whose own son is getting married in 2008!
We also got some compliments on our invitations.
AND - my Godmother filled the envelope w/confetti!

OMG Pete and I were debating on whether or not we should check no and see if you really read it. Then we were trying to be creative and write something funny but we suck and just checked yes and mailed it.

We got some cute little notes but we also had one of the people who declined write a long explanation on the back of it and we really appreciated that!

yeah i never thought to do thateither... i should have done that for my brothers friends wedding that we will be missing becuse we will be on our honeymoon - but i didnt think

I never thought about making comments either!! It's so nice! One of my freinds put a smiley instead of a check mark by the 'yes' spot. Another one wrote 'can't wait.' I stalk my mailbox on a daily basis to get the response cards...I will definitely write comments on future RSVPs form now on!
