Re: Commitment letter ???What is this?? Someone help
i got one 4 1/2 years ago, i didnt think they still did it
When i was looking for a job i called the board of ed and asked for an interview and then they gave me a commitment letter, it basically means that im guarenteed a job somewhere in the city
I'm not sure what that has to do with getting fingerprinted but maybe they want u to sign up to be a teacher with the city before fingerprinting?

you need a letter from a nyc public school stating that you are to be employed by them... thats what the commitment letter is... basically you are commited to work at that specific school
