When I worked in teh city, ours was always held at LaMaganette on 3rd and 50th.

Where I work now it's employees only and it's held in the conference rooms over an extended lunch!!

We just get a luncheon with the admin staff during the day sometime the week before Christmas. I've been on vacation the last few years during that time so I've never attended though I hear I'm not missing much.

WE dont get one..... But they give bonuses so Im happy

I'd take a bonus over a party any day!!!

as a teacher...there are no parties...unless you pay for them yourself...

last year, they made us BRING OUR OWN FOOD... i doubt we have any this year!!!!

MY @SSHOLE job.....

LAst year ours was in the end of JANUARY about 2 hours away (near the NH border, I am in RI)....It was ridiculous, and FH is invited, but we gotta pay for our guests...

This year....No clue...don't know adn am not planning to go to the fricken thing...they choose these ridculously expensvie restaurant and we end up paying like 40 for our guest....which could buy FH and I a NICE DINNER TOGETHER SOMEWHERE HERE...talk about TACKY

we dont' know what to do yet. we are thinking of doing a little thing at the office this year - instead of going to a restaurant. we invite significant others. we are thinking of maybe having a psychic this year...that would be fun wouldn't it?

jenny...just as someone who is not into psychics...I wouldn't be into it...but a massage!! that would be my kind of office party

Ours is 12/23 in the Toy Building. FH is not invited

FH is some sunday this month (I should probably remember this) and the Wyndam Windwatch and I get to go!

Not sure when it is, but I know it is horrible. The Party is held in the lobby...and it is catered by our crappy cafeteria.....

I dont go to the party though....I go home when everyone goes down for it.....

We dont even get Christmas bonuses...What a cheap company I work for.

Ours is tomorrow at a club, here in the city, Roger says he is coming He was not invited but he his bum rushing the place, camera and all

I hope its better than the one the year before, what a bore, it was at the Regent Hotel, here on Wall Street, no dancing, boring elevator music and passed stuff that I could not even pronounce, save the money and give me a raise

The best one I went to was at the WTC at Windows on the World, wow, great food, dancing etc. I will tell you all how this one goes on Thursday. They are even giving cars to send us home in.

We actually have 2 parties a year-

One in Dec and one in July- The one in JUly is a departmental one- Don't ask

For the last 2 yrs it was on a fri night at Guastavino's in the city under the 59th street bridge...amazing space. This yr they cheaped out and we are just having a dept luncheon somewhere in midtown. Probably Blue Fin. Oh well. times are tough.
