any one have any good recipes for gluten free cakes and stuff? Just found out I cant have gluten, and trying to find ways to make holiday treats that wont cause problems

my mom has Celiac... she mixes a cake & brownie mix from Betty Crocker (I think) and its AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmazing!!!

i was in stop and shop and they had an entire section of gluten free cake cookie etc mixes.

i made a gluten free chocolate meringue cookie...my friend said she loved it and since they were practically finished i cant imagine she was lying lol They were soooooo easy to make, but it took a bit of time (they sit in the oven for 2 hours after they bake for like an hour). Here's a link the recipe...good luck!
edit: dont go overboard on the cocoa powder...it has a distinct taste

DH cant have gluten either. i found out that Betty Crocker has a line of gluten free cookies, cakes and brownies. ive tried the choc. chip cookies and white cake and they were pretty good.
also try glutenfreegirl.com there are some yummy GF recipes there also.
