Does anyone know why I wouldn't be able to open my Window folders? All of a sudden they won't open. And it freezes my computer. Does anyone know how this can be fixed??

prehaps you have a ton of files in one folder? the computer looks to see whats in there as your opening it... if it many large files, it can pause to calcuate everything in there..
do you ever DEFRAG you computer?

I have in the past. Unfortunately when I attempt to do it now it only get's up to 3% even after HOURS. I will try to delete more stuff. It's so frustrating!!!

Windows Me stinks. Danielles sister has it too and she has nothing but trouble with it. You may need to upgrade your memory....How old is the computer? Scott

Kate- I have the Norton Anti Virus that I paid $50 thinking it will fix this flipping thing. It hasn't worked.
Scott- My computer is 3 1/2 years old.

When did you get the Norton? and have you updated since? Do you run it or is it set to run? This may mot help right now but may prevent in the future if its a virus.
