we have a desktop connected to a printer, and then my laptop which has wireless. is there a way for me to print from my laptop to our printer without hooking it up to any wires?
usually i email things to myself and open them on the desktop to print, but i want to print out some sample programs, and i'd need to download the fonts onto the desktop which is a pain.
is this something easy to do or should i just download the fonts on the desktop too?

You should be able to do it. FH has our printer plugged into a desktop which is plugged into our router. Both of our laptops use the wireless from the router and we can print from our laptops. That said I have no idea how to do it, but if you google something like network a printer through a wireless router, you might come up with some instructions.
