Don't worry NYCHICK... I've had nothing but good experiences with Epson scanners. And I've heard lot's of good things. For $60 bucks you can't go wrong.

My dad has an HP scanner that does negatives and slides. The quality is unbelievable--what we've been able to do with old pictures & family photos-is soooo cool!!

60 bucks sounds fair enough..
Epson does make respectable products (thus the reason why they are still in business) but everytime i need to help somone, there is an epson (escpically printers) involved. I got scammed into buying 1 at a computer show.. it was when photo printers were just coming out and omg!! it was a nightmare.. any who
good purchase..it's hard to find a scanner of quality for 100 bucks

ebay?

Re: computer people...

Don't worry, NYCHICK, it'll be okay. EPSON makes good products. I had a problem or two with an epson printer years ago, but then I've had problems with HP and Lexmark too! LOL - they ALL break down on you! That's just part of computer-ness.

I swear though, after the last two years with the computer I have, my next computer is a MAC.
