Computer program for making monograms. HELP PLEASE!!!

Some people posted instructions on how to make a monogram which I saved to my notebook.

Did anyone make a monogram on Word Perfect?

EDIT: No one replied to this so I am assuming that there is no way to make a monogram in Word perfect.

I know you can make it in Microsoft Word. What other programs can you use to make a monogram and how/where do I get them?

i used photoshop 'cus i'm a graphics person, monograms are trickier to make with word 'cus you really gotta know how to play with setting images to a background so the text can overlap...

i say go find an image editor like image ready, photoshop elements or paint shop pro, something where you can use layers. you can get trial versions at tucows.com, download.com, etc.

it's quite easy, fm me if you need help.

OK...i did a little research!!!!

this is what my computer says when i try to convert a word document to a wordperfect 5.0 document....

Text boxes/lines
Supported. Some text boxes and lines convert to Word drawing layer objects. Drawing layer objects are visible only in page layout view, in print preview, and when printed. Drawing layer objects do not appear in normal view.

there seems to be a posibility to pull this off.

if you want.... give me the three letters you want... i'll make the monogram in word... save as wordperfect, then i can email it to you

Thank you for trying to help me. I really do appreciate it! I will figure it out somehow. I'm sure that you both have enough to do with your own projects! But soooo sweet of the both of you to offer help. If I run into trouble when I try to do this then I will def FM you. I will try those programs you mentioned and hope it turns out OK! tell me what your monogram is and what font etc.. and I will try to make one for you! I have all those programs and am quite good with them. I have not made my monogram yet but I am going to attempt to soon!
