You can do a search on Google for System32. There are ways to fix this from the Microsoft site or alternative ways.

If you installed new software lately, it could have changed your startup code. Another possibility is a virus that tried to rewrite your code.

(If you don't have it, I'd maybe think about getting some anti-virus software. I use Norton SystemWorks and Norton Anti-Virus.)

I wouldn't panic, though. This has happened to others.
