CONFESSION

So I just sat at my desk and started crying. My grandmother passed away 15 years ago but for some reason it just hit me that she is not going to see me walk down the isle for my wedding..

UGHH I hate PMS

Your grandma WILL be there in spirit.. she wouldnt miss it for the world! I know how it feels, both sets of my grandparents passed before I was born, and FH's grandparents have all passed as well... But I k now they'll be there in spirit!!!

It really is I never in a million years thought that I would get emotional over anything for my wedding -

Thank you I know she will be there in spirits.

Its weird because my mom went to a Psychic in December and the guy told my mom that grandma was watching over and that one of her daughters will be getting engaged in 2006 and that grandma is always watching over us.

Sorry sweetie! It ***** losing a loved one and then not having them actually see you for your most special day. I know how you feel.

Ditto about my gpa. We were extremely close. It's going to probably be more difficult when the time gets closer but I just try to think of it as he'll be there in spirit just as he's with me every day.

So sorry...she is and will always be with you...My great grandmother passed away last year, and I can't believe she won't see me get married...I'm wearing her wedding band, and I am comforted knowing a that she is with me in spirit.

I know EXACTLY how you feel and I am not just saying that. My grandfather died when I was only 5 on Christmas day....on the day of my wedding he will have been gone for 20 years and I can still lose it. And for his wife, my grandma, who died suddenly in 2000. Not one day goes by when I don't think of them. Sadly neither of them was present for any of my sisters' wedding either. I do know they were there in spirit, but I do miss their physical existence.

I completely know how you feel. I think of my grandmother every single day and it kills me that she won't be at my wedding.

Your grandmother will be there in spirit - just remember her and think about how happy she would be for you.

Also, maybe you can do something to honor her on your big day? I think I'm going to buy a little locket/frame and put of pic of my gma in it and attach it to my bouquet.

i lost my sister in law in a car accident last year and i know it is going to suck w/o her there. we're getting married on her birthday so it will be bitter sweet
