Confession of the Day

Confession of the Day

I have come to the realization that I am a road rager. It isn't like I would throw a bad driver's dog into oncoming traffic or anything (Anyone remember that case?), but I honestly say more curses in the first 5 minutes of my commute home than the rest of the .... year. The new addition of school buses into the mix is NOT helping the cause.

Anyone else?

My DH has road rage...whether he realizes it or not...everything is the other guy's fault as well...no matter what...

Hi, my name is Marlo and I have road rage. What's worse, is that I only drive for about 3 minutes in the morning to take myself to the train station. Something just clicks in that LONG mile that makes me go bananas.
Probably because I only give myself 3 minutes to make a train that leaves in 2.

I think it's ok as long as you don't physically act on it. I've done a couple of things in the past that were dangerous, in response to an idiot driver. Like tailgating. Or slamming on my brakes if someone was tailgating me.

I once blocked the road and got out of my car to yell at someone who was tailgating me, honking at me to speed up in a school zone. I had a few choice words for him about the children in the area and what I thought of his complete disregard for them. He just stared straight ahead. But that was really stupid of me because it could have easily gotten out of control. You never know what state of mind these nutcases are in.

I find though the older I get, the less upset I get. And the more I consider the other people in my car and not putting them in danger. It's better just to let these $#&^$^ go by and wrap themselves around a tree somewhere - as long as they don't take you with them.

I have road rage, too. That's why DH drives; because one day he thinks that I'll flip off the wrong person and they'll shoot me.

I totally have road rage, I scare the people that drive in the car with me!! So now they always offer to drive, it's nice, I get a ride w/out having to use any of my gas!!!!

WOW! That is ballsy! I mostly just yell - with the windows closed. But I am not a yeller in general, so it is highly out of character

OK....separate confession,

I enjoy watching this on TV when it's on...I don't know why...I think it's b/c the people dream these things up and just make them...and that impresses me.
